Description

The late application cycle is now OPEN for the 2024 - 2025 school year.  All materials must be submitted by July 10th, 2024. 

The Mountain Gateway Community College Educational Foundation scholarships are made possible through the generous support of private citizens, organizations, and businesses.  The MGCC Educational Foundation awards more than $165,000 in scholarships annually. Awards range from $100 - $5,000.

The application, and all subsequent requested collateral, must be completed online. You will need your MGCC login credentials in order to log on the online application platform. Please be aware that applicants must provide:

One letter of recommendation, excluding family members (graduating high schools seniors - a current or former instructor is preferred)

One essay

A short resume including ALL extracurricular activities, community involvement, and/or work history

Your most recent official transcript for graduating high school seniors or unofficial transcript for current MGCC students

In addition, you must have completed your FAFSA for the upcoming academic year, and you must have submitted ALL additional requested information to the Financial Aid Office before the scholarship deadline.
